Constructed of field-grey wool with a BeVo-style Wehrmacht eagle above a tri-color cockade. On the left flap is a zinc edelweiss with a gilded magnetic metal centerpiece. The cap features fold-down side panels offering ear and neck protection. The exterior features of the cap are completed by a cardboard-reinforced visor. The interior is fully lined with olive-green cotton, padded into a winter liner.
