Buckle is die-stamped steel (magnetic), with an olive drab finis.. Unmarked. The front of the buckle is embossed with Wehrmacht eagle and motto “Gott Mit Uns” (God With Us). about 70% of the original paint remains on the front of the buckle, while the back has almost all of the paint intact. The web belt has an intact green web tab with seven double vertically holes for length adjustment, and measures 33 1/2 inches in length. There are some ink stamps at either end, one end is unfortunately illegible, the other end is marked “85” for the cm size.
Overall an excellent example of a very rare belt and buckle from the Deutsches Afrikakorps, DAK!
