Printed on the poster, “Volk Hilf Dir Selbst - dann wird auch der Herrgott Dir seine Hilfe nicht versagen”, translated to mean, “People Help Yourself - then the Lord God will not deny you his help either.” Interesting verbiage, since most Nazi were agnostic. Written as it is quoted from Adolf Hitler. Dimensions approximately 13 1/2” x 9 1/2”. Printed in Munchen in August 1942. Torn in half, multiple small tears along the edge, larger tear at the top (see photograph).
