HISTORY. Bruno Bräuer (4 February 1893 – 20 May 1947) was a general in the Fallschirmjagerratroop (paratroopers) of Germany during WW2. He served as a commander on Crete and then commanded the 9th Paratrooper Division. After the war, he was convicted of war crimes and executed on the anniversary of the Axis invasion of Crete.
Printed in October 1940. The print is approximately 8.5” x 6” and shows only slight aging. Rare to find these in such incredible shape.
