Cased early Luftwaffe Observer Badge by Assmannn constructed of silvered tombac.  43.6 grams.  Reverse has a barrel hinge, straight pointed vertical pin and a wire catch.  Maker mark in relief “A” for Assmann.  Original case has a fully functional catch and hinge in excellent condition.  Near MINT.
