Constructed of die stamped bronze. The obverse center bears a submarine on a cut-out background, encompassed by a laurel wreath border topped by a German State Crown. The reverse is plain and bears a soldered horizontal pinback with a flat wire catch. Case is pressed card stock with faux leather exterior. The interior is the standard white satin upper and black velvet base with a cutout for the badge. Spring catch and hinge are fully operational. Near MINT.
