Rare & highly desirable, 1914 Iron Cross for Non-Combatants. Standard three part construction. The ribbon suspension loop and ring are both intact with the ring being maker marked, “Fr.”. The cross comes complete with a ribbon pattern, which is the negative image of that usually found on these 1914 medals, distinguishes it as for a non-combatant. Nice even patina. Some foreign matter the reverse on the ribbon. Excellent++.
