Constructed of multi-piece wool construction "SONDERBEAUFTRAGTER" (Specially employed persons) armband. Was authorized for wear only at the KREIS, GAU and REICH levels. Armband features a heavy red wool base with central white rayon circular field with canted, black, machine woven rayon swastika to the center. Both the white circular field and the swastika are bordered in machine woven golden yellow threads. Both the top and bottom edges of the armband are piped in light blue rayon piping. The armband represents a Politischer-Leiter-Anwärter, (Political Leader Candidate), at the Ortsgruppe, (Local Group), level of government. The glue from the RZM tag still remains in the center of the reverse, Near MINT.
