When you consider that these Hitler Youth Knives were used like Boy Scout knives, it’s amazing to find them in reasonably good condition. The magnetic scabbard shows moderate paint lose, but with no dents or rust. The leather strap and snap are in excellent condition and very supple. The nickel-plated hilt shows normal wear. However, the early bakelite grip plates and HJ insignia are perfect. The blade edge is in excellent condition with the blade showing some aging. The reverse has the rare stamp of “RZM M7 / 8” for Eduard Gembruch, Solingen-Grafrath, Germany. Over all excellent+
