HISTORY. Instituted July 14th, 1942, awarded for Gallantry and Merit for Members of the “Eastern People”.

Constructed of silvered zinc, on a fixed loop and ring for suspension from its period original ribbon. Most all the silver is missing from the medal and the horizontal pinback is also missing. Excellent piece of history.
