Constructed of bronze, obverse depicting central mounted horse, within an oval oak leaf wreath, with a horseshoe and letter “R” at the base.  The reverse with a barrel hinge and vertical pinback meeting an elongated flat wire catch, maker marked “L. Christian Lauer, Nürnberg-Berlin” on one side and “GESETZLICH GESCHUTZT” on the other.  Near MINT.
