Beautiful multi-colored enamel on brass pin for an International winter sports competition in the Garmisch-Partenkirchen area of southern Germany. This is the same complex that was used for the 1936 Berlin Olympics. Reverse shows the original horizontal pinback and the maker (Carl Poellath, Schrobenhausen, Germany) is marked on both the pinback and the badge (very rare). MINT condition.
