Constructed of smooth black wool.  The peak has a machine-embroidered  Wehrmacht-style German national eagle.  Underneath the eagle is a rose-pink embroidered soutache, indicating Panzer personnel. The soutache surrounds a machine-embroidered, BeVo-style tri-color cockade.  The cap is flanked by ventilation holes reinforced by blackened metal eyelets. The interior is fully lined with a field-grey cotton liner bearing a maker’s mark of “Esser & Co, Koln”, a model mark of “M1941”, and a size of “59”.  MINT.
