Imperial Japanese Army field cap with neck protector.  This olive drab wool cap with sewn on side buttons secures the leather chinstrap.  Cap has its original five point machine sewn yellow star.  Along the upper sides of the cap are three machine edged ventilation holes per side.  The neck protector is a cotton cloth and secured in the rear by the original shoelace string.  The interior features a cheesecloth lining and a perfect leather sweatband.  Finest example I’ve ever seen.  MINT.
