This exterior of the cap is fabricated from a navy blue wool, incorporating a 40 mm wide band in black velvet and a traditional high peak, with magenta piping along the top edge and flanking either side of the band. The cap was previously designed for an NCO of the Luftwaffe Civil Fire Brigade and has been re-badged.  It is decorated with a tri-color cockade on the peak.  The band below is fronted by a Fire Police eagle insignia.  Two-piece silver cord rests upon the vulcanfiber visor, which has a smooth black satin leather-look upper and has a butterscotch-colored synthetic underside. The inside has a light tan sweatband and pinned together at the rear, maker marked “Deutsche Industrie”, with a clear moisture shield over the gold manufacturer's stamp, including the company's lion logo.  Near MINT.
