Early construction of navy blue wool, the crown of the cap is fully lined by red piping, while the cap band, constructed of black rayon, is also trimmed at the top with red piping. Pinned into the peak of the cap is an early gilded reichsbahn badge. Directly beneath the badge is the cockade flanked by a machine made with golden thread is a Reichsbahn badge. The visor is constructed of Vulkanfiber, it is lacquered in glossy black on the obverse, and is colored in brown on the underside. The chin cord consists of a main cord crafted of multiple thick strands of twisted golden bullion chords with navy blue detailing, as well as two sliders constructed of braided, twisted bullion cord, and is attached to either side of the cap via a gilded pebbled magnetic button. The interior of the cap has a black leather sweatband which is completely intact and secured to the visor. The maker’s name has been worn off by time. Overall Excellent++
