A RAD (German State Labor Service) complete uniform c.1940, includes RAD Cap, very fine condition, early quality medium brown wool with silver aluminum piping with a dark brown band and a RAD  insignia sewn on the front center.  The tunic is the 1940 pattern of dark brown wool with closed collar, also of dark brown wool.  There are officer pattern collar tabs hand embroidered in silver wire on black velvet and machine sewn to collar.  The shoulder boards have silver & black braid with two gold pips on each .  Black underlay for RAD rank of “Oberstfeldmeister (Captain).  The left sleeve has the assignment RAD patch for officers, silver braid with red 226 over 3 with black edging for “Abteilung (Battalion) 3rd section 226th Group.  A RAD enamel stick pin is pinned to the left pocket.  A brown leather belt with open claw buckle & cross strap is on the tunic.  The brown wool riding breeches match the color of the tunic.  On the right shoulder is a MINT brown embroidery interlaced with a green aluminum aiguillette.  Black leather high boots.   The quality of this uniform is remarkable.  VERY Unique & SCARE.
