Constructed of a smooth dark blue wool with a black wool cap band. Dual bands of red woven Waffenfarbe piping trim the band at the top and bottom.  The front peak is pinned with a gilded zink German national eagle with the tri-color cockade constructed of zink directly beneath.  The laminated plastic (vulcanfibre) visor is painted black on the obverse and light brown on the reverse.  The black leather chin strap is missing.  The interior has a wide brown leather sweatband securely stitched into position. The visor shows extremely well, one of the sharpest looking German visors.  Overall condition is Excellent+.
