Original U.S.S.R. Communist Propaganda Banner. Constructed of Scarlet & Purple velvet with a combination of machine & hand embroidery. This is the type of banner that all military parades would include and every military commander would have in their office. However, their is a unique twist to this one in that the communist slogans are bi-lingual (Ukrainian on top & Russian on the bottom), which is very unusual . Above Lenin it says. “Workers of the World Unite”. Below is says, “Under the name of Marist-Leninism, under the leadership of the Communist Party, Forward to the Victory of Communism”. The reverse has the Coat of Arms of the USSR. Very good condition.
