HISTORY. Walther began in 1886 as a sport rifle repair shop in Ulm, Germany, evolled into a rifle manufacturer, but became famous for their pistols starting in 1908 making “Pocket Pistols” with Models 1 - 9. During WW2 their claim to fame was for the Walther PP, PPK and the P-38.
This is a rare one. This matching Walther Model 9, late Type II version with the engrave slide are impossible to find. Serial # 609,818, production c. 1932, 96% finish, 6.35 / .25 ACP cal, Crown N proof and MINT original bakelite grips.
