The hilt is interesting with the seldom found silver plating, the majority of which is still remaining. A perfect celluloid covered wooden grip with triple brass wire. The center languet has an opened winged eagle which clutches a wreathed swastika. The scabbard has it’s original shape with no dents and approximately 70% of its original paint. The blade is excellent with only a very few scratches and blade edge nicks, but overall a bright high quality blade. The reverse racisso shows the maker logo for F. W. Holler. Overall an Excellent++.
