Luftwaffe Pilot’s Wehrpass for Unterofficier Werner Englehardt. He was a fighter pilot. Book shows his flight training and aircraft he trained on. He was in Jagdgeschwader (JG) 77 4 Staffel and 2/Jagdeschwader 104. He flew in Italy with JG 77 which was a famous unit. Stab II JG 77 flew the Me 109 fighter. JG 77 unit emblem was the Herz As (ace of hearts). Page 26 shows he went missing on April 7, 1944. The front pocket of the book contains two Aktennotiz’s (containing guidance concerning flight discipline) and the rear pocket contains a Erklarung (warning not to disclose state secrets). These pertain to a declaration of conduct in case of capture. This is a very nice well filled out book of a fighter pilot from a famous unit. A pilot Wehrpass is very hard to find
