The original NSRL emblem, being a national eagle with down-swept wings and a mobile swastika superimposed on its breast, was a carried over to the DRL. Multi piece, shield shaped, NSRL sports eagle.. The NSRL eagle is in embroidered black and white thread on a red wool back with black border. This is in turn sewn to a white back wool. Used by the NSRL 1936 German Olympics participants.
