HISTORY. The Luftwaffe Regiment General Goring was formed on September 24, 1935, when the Police Regiment General Goring was transferred to the Luftwaffe.  Part of the regiment was broken off to later become Fallschirmjager-Regiment 1.  The remainder of the unit went on to participate in nearly every campaign of the war.  In July 1942, the unit was redesignated Brigade Herman Goring.

The cufftitle is made out of dark blue wool, with “General Goring” spelled out in Gothic script using silver gray thread. 15 1/2” (39cm) long. Interesting that a unit that was in existence for almost 7 years has so few cufftitles within the collector world. You won’t find a nicer one…..Unissued & MINT.
