HISTORY. After the fail Beer Hall Putsch in 1923, Hitler was sentenced to five (5) years in Landsberg Prison. While in prison, Hitler dictated Mein Kampf (“My Struggle”) to Rudolf Hess. It was published in 1925, but did not sell very well. However, when Adolf Hitler became Chancellor of Germany in 1933, one of the early dictates was that every “good” Nazi needed to read Mein Kampf. Because of this new demand, a new printing was made in 1934 and that is were this book comes.
