Absolutely one of the coolest pieces of trench art I’ve ever seen. Made out of a 37-85 shell that was used by both the US and French. With the city crest of Verdun attached. Obviously the battle of Verdun was a marathon slug-fest that lasted over 300 days and with casualties estimated at nearly one million.
