HISTORY.  The Führer Grenadier Battalion (FGB) was raised in April, 1943 to act as a second guard unit on the outer perimeter of Hitler's Wolfsschanzr (Wolf’s Lair) in Rastenburg, East Prussia.  Commonly mistaken as a SS unit, since Hitler’s original bodyguard corps was the “Leibstandarte SS Adolf Hitler”.  However, they were hand picked Army troops, technically belonging to the Grosdeutschland Division. 

 Incredible craftsmanship, easily the most intriguing ring I’ve ever owned.  Stamped  “.925”  for a silver content of 92.5%.
