Constructed on heavy cast iron. Facsimile of the German flag and a 1914 Iron Cross, 1st Class adores the top. The memorial picture and an inscription roughly translated, “He died for the fatherland”. Approximately 12 1/2” x 9 1/2”. The third picture posted is the back of the photograph and the fourth and fifth picture are of an item that was included, a 1914 Iron Cross with a photograph in the center. Not sure if it’s the same individual as in the memorial? Another interesting piece of history.
