Constructed of a brass core (rare), silver frame and black paint (only used on brass cores). The black paint has aged to allow the brass core to show through in a very pleasing way. Nicely vaulted with a screwback attachment. Maker Mark on reserve, “L/19” for Ferdinand Hoffstatter, a very rare maker.
