Carved out of soft stone with hand painting and script. A facsimile of a 1914 Iron Cross adores the top of the memorial and the script is translated to read., “Memory of the battle of Verdun”. In the bottom corners are two names than most likely fell out Verdun. Stands approximately 6” tall. Truly unique relic of WW1.
